GrappleGun v0.4.0: Added the Gun


It's been a while, but I have returned with the Gun in GrappleGun.  Also, several new mechanics, bug fixes, and balance changes. 

  • Added The Gun
    • Right-click to shoot bullets, bullets can destroy some walls, damage enemies, and push you around.
  • Death Plains / Checkpoints
    • Player can fall out of the map.  If they do, they respawn at the last activated checkpoint.
  • Enemies!
    • Ground enemy jumps at you, flying enemy explodes.  If your health drops to 0, you lose :)
  • Added a main menu (work in progress) with a level select.
  • Added a boost particle effect.
  • Level 2!
    • Much more open, with several ways to get past obstacles.

Now that my 2 main mechanics are implemented.  I can put my focus elsewhere.  Maybe start making actual 3d models so the player can stop duel-wielding boxes... 

Eh, who am I kidding, I'll just spend the next year making 50 levels with no story to tie them together.
